đź‘‹ Hey there,

You don’t need to post on every platform…

I know that sounds wrong.
Especially in 2026.
Especially when it feels like there’s a new channel every five minutes.

But most agencies and brands aren’t struggling because they’re not on enough platforms.

They’re struggling because they’re spread too thin across too many.

Let’s talk about it.

The myth: more platforms = more growth

Somewhere along the way, “being everywhere” became the goal.

LinkedIn.
Instagram.
TikTok.
YouTube.
Threads.
Pinterest.
Shorts.
Reels.

And suddenly your team is repurposing content 9 different ways, chasing 9 different algorithms, and pleasing 9 slightly different audiences.

That’s not strategy.

More platforms don’t automatically mean more opportunity.

What actually matters

Instead of asking:

“Where else should we be posting?”

Try asking:

  • Where does the target audience already spend time?

  • Where does the content naturally perform best?

  • Where can we show up consistently without burning out the team?

If your ICP lives on LinkedIn and occasionally checks Instagram, why are you forcing TikTok?

The ideal Framework

If you’re overwhelmed, simplify…

Choose:

1 primary platform
This is where your voice lives. Your strongest content. Your main positioning.

1 supporting platform
This reinforces presence and builds familiarity.

Everything else? Optional. Experimental. Not mandatory.

You don’t need omnipresence.

You need strategic presence.

AI Tip of the week

Use AI to audit where you should actually be focusing.

Try this prompt:

“I run a [type of agency/brand] targeting [describe your ICP].

Our current platforms are [list them].

Based on our positioning and content style, which platform should be our primary focus for the next 90 days? Which one should be secondary?

And which could we safely deprioritise without weakening brand perception?

Please explain the reasoning in strategic terms, not growth hacks.”

Final Thoughts 📝

You don’t win by being everywhere. You win by being recognisable in the right places.

Focus creates strength.
Scattering creates stress.

And social really doesn’t need to be this chaotic.
