❤️ My favorite social posts of the week

Always seems like a good idea on a Friday 🥲

We can help with that 😉

How’s it only Monday?!

Now here’s one of my favorite campaigns from last year 👇

🕊️ Dove’s Turn Your Back campaign

Dove’s #TurnYourBack campaign was 🔥

So, last year you may have seen the TikToks with the bold glamor filter - designed to make people appear more conventionally attractive (major eye roll!)

But Dove encouraged users to turn their backs on unrealistic and fake beauty standards on social media as part of its #NoDigitalDistortion movement.

The filter was used millions of times - particularly by women aged 15-24.

Dove identified an important issue amongst its target audience and created a campaign with huge social impact.

I’m all for it 🙌

What are your thoughts on this campaign?

Next item: should you offer free trials?

💰 Should you offer free trials?

Overall, it’s a personal choice. But we offer a 14-day free trial at MixBloom and we've found it to be super useful.

Here's why:

👉 We can showcase our value and expertise

👉 It builds trust and credibility

👉 We attract more new customers

👉 We gather more customer feedback

👉 There are more upselling opportunities

👉 It gives us a competitive advantage

Especially in the current economic climate, free trials are definitely a good shout to reduce perceived risks for prospective customers. 🙂

On that note, let’s talk pricing.

💸 Why I choose to be transparent about pricing

Should you include your pricing on your website? It's a debate I often see on LinkedIn and I find the topic really interesting.

We show our MixBloom pricing on our website for these reasons:

👉 To build transparency

What you see is what you get - we have no hidden fees. Potential clients know exactly what price they will be paying for our services, which helps build trust.

👉 To set expectations

Having our prices on show gives potential clients a good idea of what they can get for their budget.

There's no need to second-guess!

👉 To save time for all parties

Pitching and proposals take a lot of time for everyone involved. If the price is disclosed at this stage, and it's not in the prospective client's budget, there's no wasted time!

👉 To filter qualifying leads

We only need to progress our sales pitch with potential clients who are genuinely interested in our services and are a good financial fit.

Being transparent with our pricing is the way to go for us.

What is your take on this?

And that’s all for this week - Shrek may or may not make an appearance next week… 👀
